Eleven years ago, this month, the Ratliff family began its journey with childhood cancer. They had no idea what was ahead, but they DID have a mighty ARMY – caring for them and providing encouragement on their darkest days.
Claire’s Army continues to rally behind patient families receiving world-class care for childhood cancer at Levine Children’s and Hemby Children’s Hospital. Since June 1, through our Emergency Assistance Program:
– 9 patient families received relief in the form of rent or mortgage payments made on their behalf totaling $10,031.
– 5 patient families received help covering transportation costs, totaling $1,648.
– 4 patient families received urgent relief for utilities payments, totaling $2,498.
Claire Ratliff’s unconditional love for ALL is the foundation on which our mission comes to life through our consistent and tangible impact programs.
Claire’s birthday is August 30th, which is why we host the Claire’s Army Gala, their signature fundraiser, during this month. She loved a party AND taking care of others, so let us celebrate both her life and her Army’s impact in one special evening!
