Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center Summer Camps are for youth and teens who want to have a unique summer experience in a safe and supportive environment. Chef Alyssa’s Kids Culinary Camp
On Friday afternoon parents are invited to observe the end of class and enjoy lunch with their young chef.
Each child will receive an apron (first year campers) or other gift (returning campers) and recipe book to take home. And please let us know about any allergies as soon as possible.
Each day of the class will focus on a specific theme. This will include:

Clayworks is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of ceramic arts, advancement of artists and students, and enrichment of the communities it serves. Clayworks is a leader in the field of ceramic arts, providing its students and artist’s unparalleled access to top-quality facilities, equipment, and instruction. This summer, Clayworks is offering amazing 5-day camps for ages 6-15 where campers will learn and love the basic skills of pottery.
Kids Summer Camps:
This five-day camp {M-F 9a-12n} is designed for kids ages 6-10. They will create fun colorful pottery using three basic hand building methods: Coiling, pinching, and slab-building. Each camper will also get to experience making a pot on the potter’s wheel. Campers will glaze all of their own work and have it to take home with them on the last day of camp. Tuition is $190 per week.

Students will learn techniques using the wheel to make pots of different styles, such as: mugs, pitchers, casseroles, and lidded jars. Students will also learn basic glazing techniques to make their projects truly one of a kind. Projects will be ready two weeks after for pick-up. Tuition is $190 per week.

Let Me Run
Let Me Run is a nonprofit running and character-building program for 4th-8th grade boys that inspires them to be themselves, be active, and belong. Our comprehensive curriculum helps develop boys’ emotional, social, and physical health. Let Me Run Summer Camp is an extension of our popular Spring and Fall seasons.
Campers bond while running together, exploring the Sugar Creek Greenway, learning from guest presenters, completing a service project, and, most of all, having FUN. Each camp week culminates with an “Amazing Race” along the Greenway – an experience not to miss!

Camp GOTR combines the best of Girls on the Run with all the fun of camp! During this week-long session, 3rd – 5th grade girls will build friendships in a fun and inclusive setting that includes interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through art & crafts workshops. Led by caring and qualified Girls on the Run coaches, Camp GOTR provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for all girls to develop self-confidence, learn life skills they can use now and as they grow, and have fun with friends.
This year’s Camp GOTR theme is “Girls Have Heart”. Girls will have fun exploring friendships with activities designed to discover what makes a good friend and how to be a good friend to others. Girls will move, build, create, write, discuss, connect, and laugh all while participating in games and activities that will leave them feeling confident and appreciated by their teammates.
