Our Smarty friends at YMCA’s Camp Harrison have been successfully operating remote learning camps this fall and will host monthly camps January-March for ages 9-17.
The 2020-21 school year is making us really want to delete the word “unprecedented” from our vocabulary. This school year has been challenging beyond belief and is continuing into 2021. Our friends at Camp Harrison have an amazing remote learning program that will give your family some support during your child’s remote learning efforts.
The scenic mountains and wooded landscape provide the perfect backdrop for a month (or three!) of discovery and development. With programs for individual students and entire families, everyone has the opportunity to thrive at Camp Harrison.

About Camp Harrison’s Remote Learning Camps:
These enriching, week-long overnight camps help kids complete their online education during the day and make lifelong memories in the great outdoors during the afternoon. In the morning, with guidance from Camp Harrison counselors, students will bring their own technology to the dining hall and complete their daily schoolwork using a high-speed internet. Then they’ll spend the late afternoon and early evening enjoying camp activities like hiking, mountain biking, target sports, climbing wall and more! They will operate with the same successful health and safety precautions that Camp Harrison implemented for the 2020 summer overnight camps. Campers will practice frequent handwashing and only socialize and do activities with their cabin groups. Cost is $600/week and discounts apply for multiple weeks and multiple campers.
