This is our BIG week here in Smartyland – our annual holiday toy gift guide. We divvy ’em up by ages and our Smarty bloggers get to work helping Santa figure out who gets what. Today Smarty Caris reveals what her girls are crushing on as well as the rest of the 6-10 age group.
LOL and OMG EVERYTHING!
My girls are OBSESSED with these big eyed dolls and all of their accessories! They will play for hours changing their clothes and brusing their hair. The stories they come up with always entertaining. The glamper and surprise carpool is already in Santa’s bag, as I’m sure other items will be as well. The LOL dolls and pets (they come in little balls) make GREAT stocking stuffers. They even make boy dolls.
Blue Light Glasses
With all of the “screen time” our kiddos are getting these days with virutal learning blue light glasses are a must! There are so many fun versions out there right now. My girls are going to be so excited when they each find a pair in their stockings.
Ninja Obstcle Course
This is the gift I am the most excited about! What’s better than an activity that will get your kiddos outside AND get them moving?!? There are endless possibilities of accsessories and activities, so the “I’m bored” phrase should be minimized. I’ve even seen people put a post in their yard if they don’t have two trees to connect it. I cannot wait for all the challenges that are going to happen on this thing!
Scen-Ties
Y’all who doesn’t love a scrunchy?! (I am so excited they have made a comeback) Well what if you combined one with a scratch and sniff marker (another 80’s obsession) …. STRETCH and SNIFF hair ties!! They come in all different scents, like bubblegum and strawberry, and styles. They are even using them on masks. The best part is they actually hold my girl’s hair back and don’t pull it, which is a HUGE win in my house. Make sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram @Scenties.
LEGOS
It’s hard to go wrong with LEGOS: it makes them use their brain, it’s a quite activity, and it keeps them buys for longer than 10 minutes. There are a TON of choices out there this year ranging from princess to Harry Potter to Minecraft. Any choice is bound to be a good one. Just make sure to watch your step #LEGOinjuriesarereal.
