Now through June 1st, our Smarty friends at Simplicity Organizers are partnering with Simple Wellness to create Boxes of Love for Greater Enrichment Program and Foster Village! GEP serves at-risk elementary-aged children at 5 local title one schools. Foster Village creates connection for children and families experiencing foster care.
At risk children typically fall behind during the summer months and with the impact of the pandemic, it is critical that we continue to offer hope, love, and support to these children.
GEP and Foster Village will be taking our donations and creating customized activity boxes for each family.
Ways You Can Help Out:
– Donate new or gently used children’s activities, arts & crafts, games, puzzles, books, balls and jump ropes. Monetary donations are also welcomed.
– Collect donations at your home and organize items by category.
– Drive Box of Love to Greater Enrichment Program (2035 Patton Avenue 28216). Please drop off on Wednesdays between 10a-4p.
– Spread the Word. Email friends and neighbors about Boxes of Love and encourage them to participate. Post pics on social media and tag @simplicityorganizers #boxofloveclt
