Charlotte Klaar, PhD, Director of Klaar College Consulting, is offering College Application Summer Training Camps this summer to help your student with the application process.
The College Simplified Summer Camps will be held Tuesday – Thursday, June 16th – June 18th at The Studios@LOOM, 118 Academy St., Fort Mill, SC 29715. Please bring your laptop, power cord and LUNCH to all sessions of the College Simplified Summer Camps. Drinks will be provided.
What to expect:
DAY 1: We’ll tackle the dreaded college essay! We will discuss how to find the right topic and how to structure it so that it reflects who you are and why you would be a great addition to the campus community.You will have time to sit quietly and work on your essay while Dr. Klaar circulates and offers help.
DAY 2: Work on the resume and activities for the common app. We will also continue refining the primary essay.
DAY 3: We’ll complete the Common Application and do further work on your essay and resume. Once both
are done, Dr. Klaar will edit and send her comments back to you post-seminar.
Cost: Each session is limited to 10 students so that Dr. Klaar can provide individual attention to each student. Enroll in all 3 sessions (12 hours total) and you’ll pay just $575! If 2 or more students sign up together, each student saves $50. Payment is due upon registration.

Let Me Run
Let Me Run is a nonprofit running and character-building program for 4th-8th grade boys that inspires them to be themselves, be active, and belong. Our comprehensive curriculum helps develop boys’ emotional, social, and physical health. Let Me Run Summer Camp is an extension of our popular Spring and Fall seasons.
Campers bond while running together, exploring the Sugar Creek Greenway, learning from guest presenters, completing a service project, and, most of all, having FUN. Each camp week culminates with an “Amazing Race” along the Greenway – an experience not to miss!

Camp GOTR combines the best of Girls on the Run with all the fun of camp! During each week-long session, rising 3rd – 5th grade girls will build friendships in a fun and inclusive setting that includes interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through art & crafts and storytelling. During this dynamic week-long session, girls will learn about the power they possess to recognize emotions in themselves and others, and how to express their feelings through fun and interactive activities such as “Emotion Detective”, building workshops, creative skits, and more!
Camp GOTR is divided into two parts. In the morning, girls explore a life skills topic through physical activity, collaborative games and creative expression, including storytelling, building and art & crafts workshops. Carolina Diving Academy
THERE IS NO DIVING GENE.
Some people learn more quickly, but everyone can learn. At Carolina Diving Academy, we have targeted our progressions and training cycles to enable everyone to learn as quickly as they are able.
Carolina Diving Academy summer camps are targeted to fit any interest level and ability! The 13-Under Beginner Day Camp is meant to give anyone with an interest, a low-impact introduction to all of the great qualities diving exercises: fitness, flexibility, fun, and overcoming fears. Skill time on dry-land equipment and trampolines along with the springboards and platforms in the water, is balanced with visits to the park across the street for kickball and fun at the HFFA splash pad.
The 13-Under Advanced Camp is for those with prior diving or gymnastics experience. This group builds upon already developed skill sets with extra time on the dryland equipment, overhead spotting apparatuses and all of the spring boards and platforms.
The 14-Older Beginning camps are offered every weekday morning and introduce new divers to skills that will be useful in high school competitions. The Advanced camp is every weekday afternoon and for those with prior diving or gymnastics experience who wish to excel at high school state competitions and consider collegiate diving.
