Our Smarty friends at Flashes of Hope Charlotte are hosting a very special fundraiser for patients at local hospitals.
For those of you not familiar, Flashes of Hope is a non-profit dedicated to providing uplifting portraits to families that have a child dealing with a life-threatening illness. They have professional hair stylists and professional photographers that volunteer their time to go into the local Charlotte hospitals once a month to photograph children and their families. They give them (and their family members) mini-makeovers and a 15 to 20-minute photo shoot. They then mail them the photos from their session, along with the digital files so they can share with friends and family. In addition, Flashes of Hope raises funds to go towards pediatric cancer research. The mission is to photograph every child until there is a cure.
