FREE Live Music with The Harris Brothers:
January 19th from 7p-10p. This event is FREE and tickets are not required to enter the venue. The Brewhouse is located in the resort village, across from the fire pit and offers a variety of Beech Mountain beers.
The Harris Brothers are music lovers! Their infinite live repertoire consists of any number of genres including traditional roots music, rock & roll, jazz, blues, Appalachian mountain music, to vintage country and bluegrass. A typical live show effortlessly shifts from original tunes to their own arrangements of songs from all sides of the Americana musical spectrum.
January 20-25. This is the oldest adaptive ski clinic being the first of a group of national instructional clinics started by Disabled Sports USA which in its history was known as National Handicap Sports (NHS). The Atlanta Chapter of NHS assisted to develop the first clinic in 1981 and continued with it through 2004. The clinic is now run as a cooperative effort amongst programs all interested in the benefits of sports for individuals with disabilities with Beech Mountain Resort continuing to be our host with help from the Costin family whom we are especially grateful. The sponsors of this event donate to bring together the instructors, equipment, and resources necessary to teach skiing/snowboarding to individuals with disabilities in the southeast region.
Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing with Live Music from Dr. Bacon:
February 1 from 6p-10p. Join Beech for the 4th annual cookie and beer tasting! Come enjoy a four flight of Beech Mountain Brewing Company’s beers paired with everyone’s favorite cookie provider, The Girl Scouts of America! $10 per person for a cookie and flight pairing. The cookie and flight pairing are optional and served on a first come, first serve basis. The Taproom & Grill has a full bar and food options for everyone to enjoy.
Enjoy live music from Dr. Bacon, starting at 7p, while you sip and snack. Dr. Bacon is a genre blending “Appalachian Funk-Rock” band from Asheville, NC.
Beyond the Boundaries Women’s Snowboard Camp:
February 2-3. Learn new tricks, progress in the park, and ride with a group of like-minded ladies! Beyond the Boundaries Women’s Snowboard Camp is coming to Beech Mountain Resort on February 2-3, 2019. Whether you are totally new to the park or are a freestyle veteran, BTBounds’ professional rider coaching staff will help you learn new things, increase your confidence and have fun! Drop into features in a private progression park—the perfect place to hit your first box or dial in tricks on a street-style rail. This is the ultimate shred weekend designed just for the ladies!
