This summer our Smarty friends at Jami Masters School of Dance (JMSD) have an enchanting schedule of camp themes perfect to keep your dancers entertained and twirling throughout the whole summer!
Jami Masters School of Dance is located in the back lot of Park Road Shopping Center and offers a variety of summer dance camps available to children two years old to third grade. Campers will discover acrobatics, art, dance, drama, ballet, cheer, hip hop, jazz and more. All campers will receive a JMSD Summer Camp T-Shirt and families are invited for a special performance on Fridays.
What I love about JMSD is their low-pressure philosophy:
To instill the love of dance in all of their students. They encourage each child to be the best they can be, and do this in a loving, caring, nurturing, and noncompetitive environment. Through careful, supervised dance training, students gain confidence and charm while developing stronger, healthier bodies.
Calling all “Princesses in Training” to join the JMSD dancers for a week of summer camp! Campers attend morning classes including: dance, art, acrobatics, story time, and snack time. For only a few select weeks this summer, our PIT camp enjoys classes at the studio from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Monday – Friday. Find out more information here.
The goal at JMSD 3-8 Year Old Summer Dance Camp is to expand dancers’ art expression abilities with exposure to dance, drama, music, acrobatics, and art. Campers are grouped by age and will rotate through the different arts areas each day. During select weeks this summer, JMSD campers will be in classes at the studio from 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. They conclude the week at noon on Friday with a “mini production” based on the theme of the week for special guests… families and friends. JMSD Summer Technique Classes:
Do you have a rising 4th or 5th grader looking to raise the barre on her dance technique? JMSD offers technique classes all summer long for dancers of all levels age rising 4th grade all the way up to adults. They offer ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, funk, contemporary, body conditioning/stretching and more. This is the perfect time for your dancer to try something new and see if she likes it before registering for fall classes. INSPIRED by Jami Masters is an elite dance intensive that offers various styles of movement: Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Contemporary, and Tap. This allows dancers to experience new ways of movement and new ways to express themselves. With innovative choreography by industry leading instructors, Jami Masters makes it possible for dancers to advance their technique while inspiring the world around them. INSPIRED dates: June 22-24.
