There’s NOTHING like a fresh take on the year, and today I’ve got it. I was lucky enough to receive a sneak peek at the newest Erin Condren LifePlanner™ in the mail this week. For those of you who haven’t ordered from Erin Condren before, let me just tell you: hearing the UPS truck drive up to your house then seeing the pretty package at your front door will absolutely make your day. There’s NOTHING like getting an Erin Condren box. This was no exception. Here’s what I opened:
Gah! So fun! And guess what, Erin Condren is pre-launching this beaut TODAY, and you can get $10 off your first order with this link.
I’ve been an Erin Condren fan for several years now (see my past review here and see my Smarty Mom interview with Erin here). Y’all know I am a pen-to-paper planner girl, despite my job in the blog-osphere (Smarty Jen P. makes fun of me all the time, but a girl’s gotta do what she loves…), and I’ve found Erin Condren planners to be some of the most functional and beautiful on the market. They’re uber customizable and functional, but just oh-so-pretty.
I fell in love with this year’s newest cover designs. Despite claiming a few years back that I would NEVER own anything rose gold, I’ve quickly found myself kinda dripping in it. (As I type this, I am wearing rose gold hoops and rose gold Tkees.) So, of course I had to follow suite with my planner. It turned out PERFECT.
The minute I opened up the newest coiled LifePlanner, I felt one of the biggest changes they made from previous years: the paper. The paper in this year’s planner is AMAZING. It’s 80# paper stock, which is perfect for planning and jotting notes AND ink doesn’t bleed through. It’s a huge difference that I really love.
They also made several changes to what was already some crazy fun options to customize your LifePlanner. This year the Erin Condren LifePlanner will be available in three calendar options: 18 month (July 2017 -December 2018) and 12 month (January-December 2018 OR July 17 – June 18). They’re also offering for the first time a hardbound planner in two different sizes (which is gorg). Click here to see all of the LifePlanner options – you’ll see what I mean when I say it’s totally customizable for YOUR life.
So, my planner is 18-month, hourly, neutral, coiled (in rose gold, thank you very much). They’ve updated the neutral to be even prettier – like a breath of fresh air. It just makes me HAPPY when I open it. Here’s a few pics:
Close ups of the month – one big difference in the Erin Condren LifePlanner and other planners is the size of the monthly boxes – I can easily fit all of my and my kids’ schedules in a box!
LOVE the fresh week spreads!
There’s also some major space for goal-setting. I usually use this space to jot notes and future plans with the family – vacations, big sporting events, etc. They’ve added new layout for notes at the beginning of each month (bottom left pic) that I can’t wait to use.
They’ve included TONS of stickers in the back – lots of rose gold ones, which of course I love ;-). I use the long horizontal stickers to cover up plans that have changed ALL THE TIME. 🙂 I’ve also been known to bedazzle my planner a bit – sometimes a boring Monday in February is way brighter with a sticker.
I L-O-V-E the grid dot paper in the back – I’ve kinda become obsessed with grid dot paper because of Erin Condren. I didn’t even know how much I needed it in my life until she came along.
Bottom line: this year’s LifePlanner is seriously the best one yet. Pre-launch starts today and if you use this link, you can get $10 off your first order. Not ready for a new planner just yet? How about gifting it! I think the LifePlanner would make the BEST graduation gift for a middle schooler, high schooler, or college girl – especially with the new calendar options.
Happy planning, Smarties!
