Join the YMCA Camp Harrison Camp MOMs (Moms on the Mountain) for a super fun night for a great cause! On Saturday, September 19th, the YMCA Camp Harrison Camp MOMs are hosting their annual Bluegrass & BBQ party at one of Charlotte’s finest clubs, Belle Acres Country Club.
This fundraiser has a very specific purpose – to raise $ to send under-privileged kids to Camp Harrison for the Send a Kid to Camp Campaign. It doesn’t matter what your camp affiliation is, the purpose is to share a camp experience with those who otherwise would not ever be able to go. For so many kids in the Greater Charlotte area, the cost of a week of summer camp is just too high for the family budget. The money the Camp MOMs raise on September 19th, via ticket sales and a silent and live auction, will help make a dream come true for many local kids.

Belle Acres Country Club, a hidden gem tucked away in Historic Southend and an old Charlotte institution. It’s a trip back in time, charming and eclectic. Belle Acres serves the most delicious food you’ve ever tasted. And their BBQ dinner will not disappoint.

Entertainment?
The Neighbors, plucked right off of Camp Harrison’s stomping grounds. They are an old school Carolina bluegrass band who can play the ukelele like no other. They often sport coon hats and they can play Kenny’s The Gambler better than we’ve ever heard.

$50/person plus cash bar. Best food you’ll ever eat.
