We are all SO THRILLED that Kendra Scott now has a store right here in the QC at SouthPark mall. Her store is gorge – definitely stop by the next time you’re at SouthPark. Jen P. and I recently took a peek at the store and the amazing Color Bar, a super cool area where you can design your own jewelry and get it made right there that instant. Gotta love instant gratification. I can picture a fun bridal party event or Sweet Sixteen at the Color Bar (so can my daughter :-)).
There are so many great pieces in the Kendra Scott line. She’s known for her statement pieces, which I love. But, what I didn’t know is that she has some amazing simpler pieces as well. I recently bought a pair of the Parker Stud earrings and wear them almost every day. No kidding. I’m determined to get the Dylan Necklace in turquoise next. Love.

I stopped by trunk show this week and was blown away at the amount of COLOR. So many pretty bright colors that are perfect for summer. Roberta Roller Rabbit is an offshoot of Roberta Freymann’s namesake label and is a relaxed, resort-inspired line that includes clothing for women, men, and children, as well as home furnishings and accessories.
One of my fave things in her line for women and girls is the kurta (a tunic-like top with beautiful prints and colors). Jen, lil’ Smarties Isabel and Ava, and I are all featured here in Roberta Roller Rabbit. Her pieces are so versatile – wear them as tunics, dresses, or swim cover ups.

This Mother’s Day is special to me, because about 8 months ago, I almost lost my mom. She is 64, and went into Urgent Care on a Saturday with abdominal pain, and by Monday she was on life support. I had never actually considered the thought of her being gone from my world. I am getting married next month, and the fact that she’s around to be there makes me so grateful. I’m the first of 4 children where my mom will be the “mother of the bride”.
I would LOVE to wake up with my 3 kids snuggling in bed with me and receiving lots of sweet kisses and hugs. A day where there is no worry but a day full of love, joy and spending quality time together. Oh, and a massage at the end of the day would be so nice:)
