Friendly Rooster Shoes Review + $75 Gift Card Giveaway!

Within the blink of an eye, my son has gone from rolling over, to sitting up, to crawling, to pulling up to starting to take his first steps with some help of our coffee table. It’s a matter of time before he’s off and running. It’s important to me that he have the right footwear to support his developing feet during this important time.

After doing some research, I was told about Friendly Rooster, an online shoe store that’s based  right here in our backyard, the Queen City. Their site carries stylish and functional footwear for babies, toddlers and little boys (through size 9.5) and girls (through size 9), plus some really fun accessories. They have many brands under their parent label; however, I was drawn to the Tip Toey Joey brand, as they are not only great shoes, but for their program called Share Your Love of Shoes. When you purchase a pair of Tip Toey Joey shoes, a pair will go to a beginner walker in different charities around the United States to promote foundational walking and foot health.

My son took his first few steps sporting the Jumpy Sneaker for baby. This pair was phenomenal! A breathable material on the upper part, made of suede and nylon, for the summer months paired with a flexible rubber sole allowed my son to move around with ease and not have stinky, sweaty feet. Near the heal, the shoe features an elastic detail which made it easy to put on a squirming baby, and I could tell that my son was comfortable while he figured out how to put one foot in front of the other. Never did he experience any kind of rub or blister with these shoes. In addition to all the support the shoe offered, the style was perfect. The navy and white coordinated with just about every outfit and he looked like one cool kid sporting these vintage-looking kicks.

This style of shoe does come in a variety of colors for boys and girl and beyond that, there are plenty of other styles to choose from. Anything from sporty to dressy to casual, in a variety of colors, patterns and accessories, Friendly Rooster carries it all. Their selection is awesome!
