Hall Family Farm
Family owned and operated for decades on end, this family farm in the Ballantyne area is dry of strawberries from their summer crop and is ready for your family to pick the perfect pumpkin. Beyond the fields of orange, there are other activities to participate in, including a corn make, musical hay ride. Admission to the farm is free, pumpkins and activities extra.

Hodges Farm
For more than a century, this family farm has been a hub of the great pumpkin. There are plenty of pumpkins for the picking with 10 acres to choose from. Other family activities include hayrides every hour, hay mountain, farm animals and pony rides on the weekends. Admission to the farm is free, pumpkins and activities extra.

Carrigan Farms
This Mooresville gem has tractor-drawn pumpkin patch hayrides to help you choose the pumpkin that will come home with you. Beyond the pumpkins, their farm market offers a good harvest of fall favorites including apples and cider, gourds, greens, mums and more. Hayride tickets are $10 for ages 2+, free under 23 months; however, they can’t take a pumpkin home). Furthermore, on select nights in October, the 130 acre farm is turned into Scarrigan Farms – a haunted trail that makes you scream. Note that Sacrrigan Farms is not for the wee ones, so get a babysitter and come on out! Tickets are $20 per scaredy cat.

The Hunter Farm
This one-stop farm includes a pumpkin patch and hayrides, but also a great petting barn that the kids are sure to enjoy. They do offer night hayrides and bonfires, but only by reservation. Adults are $9.50, kids $8.00 and grandparents and kids under 2 are free.

Riverbend Farm
Touting 20 acres of pumpkins, this farm now offeris wagon rides to and from the pumpkin fields which is going to be a fun treat for your little ones. There is more than just pumpkins to gaze your eyes on – they have five pens of Heritage turkeys and the iconic 10-foot Hostein Cow that is a must stop selfie-opportunity. There are large slides for the kids to fly down and even an apple cannon to shoot. Admission is $5.50 for 2+.

Patterson Farm
Hidden in Mount Ulla this farm offers 40 acres of pumpkins to tour. Beyond picking up your new pumpkin, there are puppet shows, hayrides, corn maize dashes and even a portrait day on October 25, plus many more family activities including a tomato slingshot and pony rides to name a few. Weekend admission is $9 (ages 2-54), $8 for 55+. The pumpkin patch express is $4.

Red Wolf Farm
A little bit of a hike outside of Charlotte, this classic farm has a pumpkin patch open to the public on weekends, as well as hayrides, farm animals, giant tubs of corn to swim in, trails, obstacle course and so much more. There are no reservations required to visit and admission is $8 for ages 1+. Admission includes all activities except horse rides, super slide ride and pumpkin purchase, those are ala cart.

Devine Farms
This 133 acre family owned and operated farm can be found in Catawba County. Although a little drive, it’s full of fun including pumpkin picking, wagon rides, farm animals and a nine acre corn maze. Admission is $5 for ages 5+, free for under the age of 5, with a paying adult, pumpkins are extra.
