Planning your weekend already and it’s only Tuesday? Us, too. Here’s one you don’t want to miss – Leroy Fox Kitchen & Cocktails will be hosting the 3rd annual Fox Rocks for Pink event this Saturday, October 4th, 2014. This big bash is the official post Race for the Cure benefit for Susan G. Komen of Charlotte.
Fox Rocks for Pink is a FUN event doing a lot of good. In 2012, the first annual event raised over $10,000 in funds with over 250 guests. Last year they raised nearly $15,000 with over 350 guests. It was inspired by Nicole Bills, former Panther’s LadyCat and breast cancer survivor, but is now held in honor of mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, cousins, friends, and family affected by breast cancer.
This year’s guests can expect a glamorous pink carpet event with paparazzi, and a silent auction with fun prizes like a pair of diamond earrings from Diamonds Direct, a professional photography session with famed pin-up photographer Carlo Pieroni, and a complimentary surgery from Stillwater Plastic Surgery. All silent auction proceeds will go directly to Susan G. Komen.
DJ SK will be kicking off the dance party while Lindsay, of the Ace & TJ radio show, will be emceeing. Limited pre-sale tickets may be purchased at foxrocks.leroyfox.com for the fundraiser starting at 8pm on Saturday, October 5th.
