Meeting every Friday night since February 2012, Food Truck Fridays have taken the city by storm. Periodically featuring entertainment as well, the crowds have swelled to over 1,000 each week. We’re family and dog-friendly, too! So bring a chair, bring a blanket, BYOB, bring the kids, take the dog…it’s a neighborhood night out in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Summary: The most unique vehicles in motorsports return to The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 9 for the 15th Annual Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash presented by Mello Yello. Monster Trucks are typically 11-feet tall and weigh nearly five tons. Their custom-built, fuel injected engines produce between 1,500 and 2,000 horsepower. Powerful giants such as Avenger, Big Foot, Equalizer, Hooked, Red Solo Truck, Stone Crusher, Walking Tall, Wrecking Crew will compete in head-to-head challenges on a radical obstacle course at The Dirt Track.
