If you’re little girl is a dancer or a dancer-wannabe, now is the time to check out Miller Street Dance Academy’s camp schedule. With two locations on Providence and Baxter Village AND air-conditioning on a hot Charlotte summer day, this might be the perfect place for your little chick. Plus, if you’re new to the dance world, camps are the perfect place to start, and MSDA is one of our Smarty faves in south South Charlotte. They make amazing dancers AND have strong ties to the community (see below about the unbelievable results of their “Penny Wars”!!)
All summer camps run from Monday – Thursday from 9:00a.m.-12:30p.m., unless otherwise noted next to the camp date. Each camp has its very own theme and will include a variety of activities, such as tumbling, face painting, arts and crafts, puppet shows and much, much more!
MSDA Princess Camp:
Bippidi Boppidi Boo, it’s a fairy tale dream come true! Gowns, crowns and castles will do, nothing short of a royal camp week for you! We sure hope you will drop by and let your imagination fly! It’s a week full of prince and princesses that you sure can’t deny!

MSDA Safari Camp:
Welcome to the jungle, the animals are all abuzz. They heard about safari camp and wondered what it was! So, grab your gear and your hat, MSDA is hitting every safari on the map!

MSDA Groovy Girl Camp:

Results in for MSDA’s Penny Wars
Smarties, the results are in the for the MSDA’s Penny Wars, a charity event that Miller Street has done since 2008 that helps support the African Christian Fellowship International (ACFI), which supplies food and other necessities to an orphanage in Liberia, Africa. Click here for more information.
The competition team at MSDA raised….drum roll please….over $28,000 which equals 312, 282 meals for children in Africa. Simply amazing. Big Smarty fist bump to ALL involved!
