Snow has blanketed the QC and is on its way to the mountains, so let’s talk President’s Day Weekend plans! According to our friends at Beech Mountain Resort, snow conditions are absolutely fabulous! We love seeing our friends at Beech Mountain on WCNC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics!
Our fam just went to Beech this past weekend. My boys learned to snowboard (see video below, I apologize that it’s a tad long!). Their birthday is Valentine’s Day and all they both wanted for the big day was to learn how to snowboard – check that off our list! I was surprised at how easy and naturally it came to them. I’m thinking their generation may bypass skiing altogether, at least the boys will. My girls are chomping at the bit to learn, we’ll be back in March and it will be their turn to shine.
This weekend will have IDEAL ski conditions – fresh snow and powder! So once Charlotte thaws out, you may want to pack up the fam and head on up to Beech. On Presidents Day, Beech Mountain Resort will offer weekday pricing. See their Lift Tickets Page for more information.
