The timing couldn’t be better to talk about Beech Mountain Resort – Mother Nature has ordered up some snow for the high country! And it’s a long holiday weekend – SCORE! Lucky for us, Beech Mountain is a hop, skip and a jump from the QC.
After our first family ski experience last year, my family is forever hooked. With just one day of ski school (best thing ever invented!), my kids were skiing down the NC black diamond slopes leaving their FL girl mom in the dust on the bunny slopes! This year – it’s all about snow boarding. Perfect timing since it’s National Learn to Ski & Board Month.
Beech Mountain is hosting a few fun events to celebrate. The first is Beech Mountain Resort’s Poster Contest. First prize – skis or snowboard, day of skiing and goggles set. My boys are TOTALLY jealous because this is open for third to fifth graders! Details here.
