Camp Highlander, located in Mills River, NC, near Asheville, provides a magical summer experience for girls and boys, ages 5-16. Year after year, campers return to build lasting memories at the 240 acre campus nestled in the heart of the North Carolina mountains.
Junior Camp is specifically geared toward younger campers (K to 4th grades), with lower camper to counselor ratios and special activities that peak the young campers’ interest. Campers get a taste of independence away from mom and dad, without the financial outlay of a multi-week experience. Summer camp allows children to grow through hands-on experience, unlike school or any other learning environment.
