Hands down, favorite tradition is putting out a ceramic turkey my mom had filled with M&M’s on my dining room table. She gave me the turkey last year!
Might seem small but looking back I never noticed the hoopla that went on during this time of year, I don’t remember my mom freaking out over the gravy or if the sheets were perfect for the in-laws! I noticed the little turkey…I need to remember that this week for my children’s sake!
Favorite Thanksgiving Tradition – Watching the Christmas Flotilla while visiting Wilmington 🙂

My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is that my husband always cooks the turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes by himself. I do a couple other sides/dessert but it’s a relatively easy holiday for me!
My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is a combination of things… First, all my family has to be present (yes even crazy grandpa wayne). We must have so much food that when it’s all said and done it doesn’t even look like we made a dent in it. Then when it’s all said and done an epic board game that goes on for many hours with screaming, crying, coercing, blackmail, and finally an undisputed anual winner (hoping it’s me this year!). Yup, that pretty much makes up an epic Thanksgiving at my house. 🙂
My marvelous hubby cooks his famous turkey for the entire family!! Then, we play games after lunch.
