Today we present Southern Tide!

Southern Tide was founded in 2005 by then 23-year-old Allen Stephenson, who traveled to Italy and became inspired by some of the most beautiful elements in the world. From historical architecture and couture clothing to high-performance sports cars, he noticed common threads – exceptional craftsmanship, clean lines, fine quality and classic design.

This inspiration led Allen to create Southern Tide. In designing his first piece, he enabled the best in design, balance, harmony and quality the space to complement each other, resulting in what many regard as the most comfortable polo shirt in the world – the Skipjack polo, which has become insanely popular on college campuses, particularly in the South, and now they have a collegiate line.

I discovered Southern Tide a few years ago while vacationing in St. Simon’s Island, GA. I was drawn to the cool fish logo and the preppy Southern style. I’ve been outfitting my hubby in Southern Tide since that trip. This line is preppy, rugged, nautical, edgy and what else can I say but Southern – I absolutely love my hubby in it! They have polos, chinos, shorts, sweaters, sportshirts, swimwear – pretty much everything your guy needs in his life to look good. I was super excited to learn about the boys line – see my twins photographed here with their identical twin dad, all in Skipjacks:-) Rumor has it that they are going to expand their boys line, but don’t hold me to that. I think they totally should, Charlotte, NC would eat-it-up!
