The 3rd annual Walk the Course Against Domestic Violence event, a project of the Avon Foundation for Women held in collaboration with the PGA TOUR Wives Association and the Wells Fargo Championship, will be a fun, meaningful, family-friendly event at the beautiful Quail Hollow Club golf course on the evening of Tuesday, May 3.
CSP is once again proud and honored to partner with Walk the Course to help make a difference in the lives of thousands of people in North Carolina who are affected by domestic violence. Join us as we commit to change the course of domestic violence in North Carolina, and to help put an end to abuse.
Walk the Course Against Domestic Violence is a non-competitive, family-friendly event that will raise critical funds and awareness to help end the cycle of domestic violence in North Carolina. Join the CSP team to walk 18 holes (5 miles) and you’ll be sure to enjoy the views on one of North Carolina’s finest golf courses at Quail Hollow Club. Funds raised will be distributed by the Avon Foundation to outstanding organizations in the Charlotte area.

Following are the Smarty Tips you need to make this afternoon as fabulous as possible!
-Children and collapsible/umbrella strollers are welcome – make sure your stroller can be easily broken down for a bus shuttle. Our entire team has walked with our kids – if you’ve got a runner, you may want to get creative. Pack lots of snacks and drinks and let them enjoy the beautiful weather. It is such a treat!
-This event is rain or shine. Check-in begins at 3:30pm at Forest Hill Church (7224 Park Road). Note: you MUST check in at Forest Hill Church and take the shuttles. Walkers and spectators are not permitted to drive directly to the Quail Hollow Club and no drop-offs. The 18-hole walk starts at 6:00p. Walkers must check in no later than 30 minutes prior to their start time. Shuttles will be provided from Forest Hill Church. Transport to the golf course will take approximately 10 minutes. Please allow sufficient time for arrival, registration and transportation to the event.
-Attention Past Participants! If you have previously participated in an Avon Foundation event at any time since 2003 (i.e. the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer or previous Walk the Course events), please click here to sign-in to your existing account BEFORE you register. This will allow you to keep your prior username and password.
No excuses, Smarty Charlotte! It’s time to paint this swaggy course pink & green Smarty style, all for a great cause!
