Veggie Challenge at Your School

My son’s school, Sharon Elementary, has started something great! I am not sure if all the CMS schools are doing it, but hopefully it will catch on. A veggie challenge!! If the kids are “caught” eating veggies at lunch they get announced on the PA and a big deal is made of it. What a fun and positive way to get kid’s excited and motivated about eating veggies!

Why not doing something similar at your house? Find a fun way to reward and make a big deal about your child doing a good job with his veggies. The more normal and fun we make it, the easier the battle will become.
