Also, that’s to Smarty Krista, we found out that today is Cow Appreciation Day at all Chick-fil-A’s nationwide. Dress as a cow from head to hoof and get a full meal for free. Too chicken to get all decked out, no worries, you can still get a free entree (this means a sandwich, nuggets, etc – you will have to pay for your drinks and fries) if you come in partial costume. This means add a tail or black spots on your white tee. Most local locations will have balloon artists on site. This party goes on until 10pm at all Chick-fil-A’s. Don’t be a chikin!

Thanks! The portrait was done by a local dad who donated his talent to our preschool fundraiser a few years back. I got lucky and only paid $130 at the silent auction. I still feel guilty about that! I've asked the artist a zillion times if he was interested in doing my other children, and he is taking some time off of art for now. Such a bummer because we Smarties could keep him in business for life! I'll keep you posted if he changes his mind:-)
