One of my favorite ways to teach my children is through the music they listen to. And since we’re in seemingly endless carpool lines all day long, this has proven to be pretty effective in my world. The new CD “My Changing Planet” sends the perfect green message this Earth Day 2010.
My Changing Planet features more than 20 singers and actors who were brought together by four green moms determined to inspire the next generation to enjoy, treasure and protect our planet. These Smarty moms recognized that kids can and do make a difference – not only today, but also as future inventors, policymakers, parents, teachers, business owners and community leaders. Their mission with My Changing Planet is to inform, inspire and endlessly entertain, both parents and children alike.
My faves on the cd include “Garbage” by Everett Bradley, “My Changing Planet” by Toby Lightman, and “Fortunate” by Lucy Woodward. Powerful message, groovy tunes, and your kids will L-O-V-E it!
