In 2008, the Harris YMCA Community Outreach Campaign raised more than $500,000 to improve literacy and youth health by supporting YMCA Starfish Academy and McCrorey YMCA Afterschool. Be a hero in someone’s life by attending the first-ever Rock the Runway, yet another one of Cara Viers’ brilliant masterpieces!
Rock the Runway is sure to be an evening of fashion, food, and fun. In addition to fabulous yet functional fashion, you will find an amazing selection of silent auction items, just in time for prime Christmas shopping. Partners include Salon 42 for hair (yup, this is Cara’s oh-so-talented hubby), Old Navy/Banana Republic/Asana for clothes, and catered by Nothing but Noodles. Think carpool, Smarties – you know I love me some Asana pants, any flavor, any day of the week:-) Oh, as if Cara didn’t think of everything, this rockin’ event will be emceed by our very own celeb mom, Sheri Lynch of Bob & Sheri (love her and cannot wait to meet her!!).
