We asked, YOU delivered. Yes, that’s right our beloved Smarties…we’ve been notified by Charlotte Magazine that Charlotte Smarty Pants won Best Local Blog (Reader’s Choice)!!!! Yahoooooooo!!!!!!!! And many of you went above and beyond in your super Smarty way and we are also proud to announce that our very own Chief Founding Mommy, Jen Plym, won Charlotte’s Best Up and Comer (Reader’s Choice). Lemme just stop here for a momento and say you Charlotte Smarties friggin’ R-O-C-K! Can you tell we’re just a tad bit excited and forever grateful for all you do to support us and this adorable and savvy ‘lil site?!

Just got my copy of the Best of the Best May 2009 issue and I have to say, it’s a little confusing. Not only do the editors not mention one single word about a “Reader Picks” award (it’s almost as if they never existed!), but they slipped in an additional category that certainly would have applied to us, “Best Local Parent Web Site.” My question is, why ask for your readers’ opinion of it’s not important enough to publish in print??
