By our Smarty friends at Foreign Language League
Hola, Ni Hao, Bonjour and Bonjorno! At Foreign Language League, we strongly believe that learning a second language is a vital element in today’s education. Research proves that speaking more than one language has a positive effect on a student’s intellectual growth, enriches and enhances their mental development, and promotes flexibility in thinking. Our approach combines several techniques (Play Theory, Total Physical Response (TPR), Rassias Method, and Multiple Intelligence Theory) that have been very successful at second language acquisition.
Spring is a time for new beginnings. Why not enroll your son or daughter in Spanish, French, Mandarin, or Italian? We offer classes around the Charlotte area and start with children as young as 18 months old. Can’t make one of our classes? Pull together a few children to form a group and we will come to you!
While you can always join one of our on-going classes, we do have a few classes starting in March.
– Monday at 4:30-5:15pm at Myers Park Baptist Church. Mandarin for children ages 6-8 years.
– Monday at 5:30-6:00pm at Myers Park Baptist Church. Spanish for children ages 3-4 years old.
– Monday at 12:45-1:15pm at Gymboree Play and Music in Ballantyne. Mandarin for children ages 4-5.
– Tuesday at 11:15 am an 8 week session (including free play) at Impact One South in Ft. Mill for children ages 2-4 years old. To register or to request information, please contact Impact One at 803-547-0344.
Please visit our page at www.foreinglanguageleague.com to register and to view a complete listing of our on-going Spanish, French, Mandarin, and Italian retail classes. Our curriculum is taught so that children can join classes at any time. Summer camp dates coming soon! Our summer camps are Monday – Friday from 9am-12pm.
If you would like for us to teach after school classes at your school this fall, please reach out to Melissa@foreinglanguageleague.com. We are currently adding new schools to our fall schedule.
