My go-to gift this season is Ella B. Candle’s new holiday fragrance, Under the Mistletoe. This is the most delicious holiday scent ever – a kiss under the mistletoe with a perfect blend of evergreen, peppermint & mistletoe poured in a gorgeous mercury glass. Pure heaven! Cost is $35, so it’s perfect for any gal pal on your list.
Ella B. Pure Soy Candles are known for the clever neighborhood names, like SouthPark, Myers Park, Foxcroft and more. They are hand-poured with love right here in Matthews at the “Hive”. Each candle bears a distinctively “Charlotte” name and boasts a delightful, unique fragrance and exceptionally long burn time.
Founder of Ella B., Smarty Mama Julie Tassy, started the Ella B. Candle line to show her children how to create a product line. She has always enjoyed business, and wanted to pass that on to her girls. What started as a small side gig in just 6 local stores has grown into a thriving business of 350 stores across the country. I couldn’t be more proud of Julie and her crew. I’m so lucky to call her “friend”.
Julie decided to name each fragrance after a different neighborhood or area of Charlotte because she wanted something special for our city, and Lord knows, we Charlotteans are so proud of our hoods! My faves include my hood SouthPark, Dilworth and Myers Park. They are a perfect blend for my senses. I have these in my house all year long and I give them with love for every occasion I can think of.
Current Ella B. Neighborhood candles include:
Ballantyne, Cotswold, Davidson, Dilworth, Eastover, Elizabeth, Foxcroft, Freedom, Lake Norman, Matthews, McAdenville, Myers Park, NoDa, Plaza Midwood, Providence, Queen City, SouthPark, The Mint, and Uptown
Ella B. has four limited edition holiday fragrances:
