Charlotte Jewish Day School

Charlotte Jewish Day School (CJDS), serving kindergartners through 5th graders, prepares Jewish children for success in academics and in life. Its small class size provides a personal, nurturing environment for differentiated instruction where each child excels. The school’s project-based instruction provides unparalleled experiential learning across all grades. The school’s integrated General Studies and Judaica curriculum develops critical thinking skills, while its Hebrew immersion program dramatically impacts mental agility and creative problem solving. Not only do CJDS students consistently outperform national averages for mastery in math, reading and writing, they consistently meet or exceed other independent schools in these same content areas. CJDS provides a Jewish experience that promotes confidence and pride.

CJDS is located on Shalom Park, an extended neighborhood of educational, religious, social service, and recreational organizations serving the Charlotte Jewish community. Students may participate in a variety of clubs and afterschool activities. Moving beyond the four walls of the school, CJDS students enjoy enlightening and unforgettable speakers and travel experiences through the course of the year. CJDS provides a Jewish experience that promotes confidence and pride for a lifetime. Visit the website www.cjdschool.org for more information.
